Hunger In America 2006
From my email newsletter that I get from The Hunger Site, I discovered that America's Second Harvest did a study on hunger in America. According to the web site, it's the largest study of its kind.
Hunger really is a problem in the United States. After reading the statistics myself, I must say that it's a lot worse than I first thought. And to think I was once one of those people.
Northern Illinois food Bank , which serves 13 Northern Illinois counties, is part of America's Second Harvest Network.

Saw your comment on my blog and of course had to check out yours. I so admire your theme - it is a wake up call (even though we all really know in our hearts) that hunger is here at home.
Thanks for your comments on my blog on synchronicity. That same day my mom passed on a book, Making Miracles, by a Dr Pearsall, on the very same themes. Another "coincidence".

Hmm...I'll have to see if the Greater Boston Food Bank is a part of America's Second Harvest Network too. I just saw a billboard today for the GBFB. So much to do, so little time!

Katherine, thank you. I'm going to write more about the study. It's very detailed and maybe I can point something out that someone else might miss.
I've heard of that book. How do you like it?
Trey, "So much to do, so little time!" ~sigh~ I know what you mean.
